Should I do Cardio, Lift Weights, or just Not Go?

 

Help! I only have 30 Minutes to Workout! Should I do Cardio or Lift Weights?


I feel like everyone who exercises runs into this problem; I do, and it happens often. Your daily schedule got too busy and you now only have a solid 20-30 minutes to exercise. You can't decide whether to put this time towards cardio or lifting weights. 

CoreSmart's Suggestion:
Do a weight training workout with 30-45 seconds rest between each set. You will get your muscles stimulated AND get some cardiovascular work in too! Since you will be going at a faster pace, keep an eye on your form and make sure you aren't short-cutting the exercise just to get done faster. 

Skipping the workout because you don't have as much time as your normal workouts becomes a bad habit quickly. Beat this by making the decision to get that workout in even if it's only 20 minutes.

Your body will thank you ;)
